Conditionally defining the no. of Panes per row for a Tab control

Posted by Justin Freshfield
Hi,

I currently have a requirement to display different Tabs on a Window, depending on what mode my application is started in. I am successfully hiding the appropriate Tabs depending on the mode, but I need to also be able to modify the no. of Tabs displayed per row, for asthetic purposes, depending on the mode.

I am unable to find a way I can define with code, the no. of Panes per row for a Tab control. Basically, I am wondering if there is a WinDev language statement that is the equivalent of the Max. nb of panes / row property, that appears in the Details Pane when defining a Tab control ?

Any useful suggestions here would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Justin
Hi Justin...

I do not think that there is such a statement available...

If this is important, you can fake it by using planes instead of a tab control, along with buttons to fake the tab buttons (ie you can put it where you want)...

it's a little more work, but not that complex and you have then a total control on what happens where (in fact, that's what we were all doing before the tab control became available.... yep... I'm THAT old :-) )

Best regards
