ListDisplay error with taReExecuteQuery

ListDisplay error with taReExecuteQuery

Hi -

I tried this piece of code, - ListDisplay(Lst_MarketingTypes, taReExecuteQuery) - which the help files say is correct, but I get an error that I can't use taReExecuteQuery with ListDisplay. If this is really so, (the help files are wrong) and how do I udate a Listbox after adding an item with HAdd?

Your code seems OK - always works fro me.

A bit more info.......
How are you populating the listbox?
What have you done that requires a refresh of the content?
When do you get the error?

Hi Derek -

I thought I had this solved, but still having a problem. your questions:

populating with an embedded query
gone to dialog window and added a new item

I don't get an actual error,, this listbox just doesn't update to show the new information

I do not use embedded queries but if I had used a standard query my code would be as yours....

ListDisplay(Lst_MarketingTypes,taReExecuteQuery)

Could be this does not work with embedded queries.
Can only suggest you test using a standard query.
