Never really understood editable combos

Really. How do you store a new entry in the database so that it is available to all. I don't see any processes or sample code for that. If you can't do this, then what is the benefit of an editable combo box.

thanks

I'd recommend 'Exit of Combo' - you can check there whether the value is already in the file and if conditions are met you could add it to the file feeding the combo. Regards!

p.s. all of my G-postings were excluded from transfer to the French forum/s. jimbo is always being transferred .. hehe

Hi Issah,

Exactly my thoughts!
Recently I gave up trying to use an editable combo in a table. Too much trouble.
Still using popup windows. Advantage is that the user can modify and delete items from the list.

Regards,
Piet
