Ping Jimbo, Dongle problem, urgent

sorry folks a few lines in german.

Konnichi wa Jimbo san,

bedauerlicherweise muss ich dir Zeit stehlen um einen Rat zu erhalten.
dank eines Überspannungsproblems ist die Hälfte meiner Hardware verraucht.
Ich möchte nicht raisonieren aber meine neuen PCs verfügen über keine paralelle Schnittstelle und somit ist mein WD11 Dongle nutztlos. Die Frage ist also: Wie kann ich, was kann ich, und zwar so schnell wie möglich ?

1 - sende Deinen parallel-dongle zu PC Soft (versichern so hoch als geht)
2 - lege 40,- Euro bei und bitte um raschen Umtausch auf usb
3 - Du bekommst den usb-dongle asap zurück

Leider ist Weihnachtszeit .. rufe vorher in Montpellier an und mache auf das dringende Problem aufmerksam.

Hi Bjoern, forgot to say ...

- you can buy a parallel-controller for your computer
for desktops buy a PCI parallel card
for laptops there are PCMCIA-cards with parallel port available
these cards do not offer regular LPT-ports but will work fine with parallel dongles

- PC Soft sends a new dongle in advance if you give them your credit card details. If they don't receive your defective dongle within two weeks they would charge the full 990,- Euros to your credit card.
