PostgreSQL access causing server code to consume memory
December 15, 2022 05:01PM
I host a WebDev 25 app on AWS and use AWS PostgreSQL. All works great 99.999999% of the time. But from time to time when I'm adding, updating or reading a record (using H commands) the server session starts to consume vasts amounts of memory, CPU usage spikes and the server and sessions basically hang until I either kill the session manually using task manager on the server or it experiences some kind of timeout. Has anyone else seen this?

Hi, if I remember correctly, we've had a similar phenomenon with v25 + HFSQL. We fixed by switching to v26. Maybe, you could switch to v26 - see: [pcsoft.fr]
