Popup Menu in Table WD 11

When I add a popup menu to a table a system popup is also added. It shows above the scroll bar.

Is there a way to have a popup menu without this system popup?

Hi Rich,

I am using lots of popup menues in tables, never had two of them at the same time. Don't know how this will work.

Did you choose your menu in the description of the table ?

What happens is that when any popup menu is chosen for the table an icon appears above the scroll bar, and when clicked it popups a menu that has Cut, Copy Row, Copy All, Paste, Export table to Excel, Export table to Word, and Export table to SML.

This is what I don't want.

Have you experienced this?

Try the Select Columns...'Menu under the details tab of the table

I tried that but with the same result.

It seems to depend upon choosing a popup.

Have a look at the AAF options in the help. They should allow you to turn off these features

Aah,

I understand, sure this popup remains, but it is possible to deactivate it, but I don't know out of my head where to do. Maybe Al's posting show the direction or in any properties or style of the table

A bit long winded but this is what I do........

Create the popup menu from the table GUI tab as usual

Disable the popup by selecting 'Disabled' on the table GUI tab and unchecking 'Select Columns...' Menu on the table Details tab

Add a 'Right Button Down' segment to the code window and use OpenPopupMenu(MyPopupMenu) to open the popup as required
