Windev Comparison

If you had to compare Windev to another IDE, what would it be? In other words, a buddy of mine was asking about windev and asked if I could compare the WLanguage to another programming language, what could it be comparable to?

Language - Clarion. Clear, concise, no squirrly brackets or simi-colons.
IDE - Visual Studio. Great debugger, intellisense, powerful IDE.

I'm in agreement with Art. I use the following IDE's;

Codegear RAD studio (ie Delphi)
Visual Studio 2005
Clarion (haven't used recently)
PowerBuilder 10.5 (mostly reading code)

and IMHO, I have to say that none compare in ease of use, feature set and functionality of the WinDev environment.

The language is really close to Clarion / PowerBuilder.

I get the biggest kick out of seeing developer's jaws drop when they see the functionality and capability out of the box. Especially the ones that are die hard developers in other languages and don't believe anything is better than their current product.
