[WB16] Timeout FileDisplay

Hi,

I use "filedisplay" to let users download large files (IIS 7.5)
If the download process takes a long time, the session breaks exact at 15 minutes.
It seems there is a timeout, but where ? My session time is 60 minutes.

Any ideas ?

Try clicking the treeview folder like as below:

1.Right click on Your Web Site,> Advance setting and click on Properties
2.Under Your Web Site tab under Connections then
change the Connection timeout as default is 120 sec.

But 120 seconds are Not 15 minutes ... It only happens with filedisplay. Other things works.

Hi Michael

Try to look for the file "web.config" to where (IIS server) it sits and
add
<sessionState timeout="3600"/>

60 mins, pls chk to see your file has 60*15 = 900 or change whatever
the setup (already in mins/secs) as it was.

I have created another virtual directory and use now a link to download, works so far.

Btw, discover webdev brings every day a new problem ...

Its a multifile-upload.

Max size per upload=500 MB

Wanna try my creation of up/download skyFolder (my product (wireless WB14 Server)
for loading up 4GB/file max) or we might share some exp. on this.
Just send me yr email addr. and I create an a/c for you to test out,
how about that?
