running Windev application on Mac

Since windev produces a windows executible, is there a workaround for those who run thier pc's under mac osx?

Couple of options;

1) mac runs a Virtual Machine of Windows which can then use your product.

2) Re-write the app in WinDev so that it is a Java based application and it will run on all platforms. I am currently writing a Java Web Start app now for just that purpose.

Ok, here is my question.

Does the Java app look just like the app for windows?

Some controls are not available in the Java version;

multi-column treeview
sidebar
activex (of course)
hideshow
xaml
carousel
cube
internal window
toolbar
and chart , but other than that, they are indistinguishable. I'll try to throw up some screenshots running on windows / linux / mac. They look exactly alike.

I know the list of unavailable controls seems long but there a a few options. One is to look for methods to create similar acting controls with existing controls, or the other is to see if you can use outside controls.
