sure you can ask your customer for all the interfaces you need.
If your customer is able to give this answers in usable quallity the potential and abillity to develop the application in your office ore where ever is given (theoraticly).
BUT!!!! In most cases (SAP) you need a very close contact to your customer to avoid stupied mistakes etc. You dont need to spend all the time at the customer side. Clear in front the interfaces. Agree it with your customer!! Develop, create a testscenario (very importend), take customer feedback and run the application at customer side.
