Windev Forum - OLD WinDev Forum

contains the postings from the old WinDev forum on parsimony. This is for preserving the knowledge base whhich has been built by the participants from 2000 to 2008. While you still can post answers or even new topics in this forum, however, it is not recommended to do so, except that it is an addition to a still unfinished thread or an unresolved issue.

Hi,

for those who are eager to get at the topics of the old parsimony forum:
I saved all topics from the very beginning. Due to lack of time and expertise, I wasn't able to re-post them here.
But, you can download them from here and search them yourself.

upack all zip-files into a common directory
zzb.exe is a viewer, however, I couldn't get along with it.

Now you can search the html-files ..

Kind regards,
Paul, the parsimony.net forum will disappear within some hours or a few days. I do not know exactly when parsimony-Alex will decide to kill the forum, but he will. He offered some ideas and a Linux script about rebuilding a searchable web site containing all the postings and icons of the dead forum. His conversion script runs for about 12 hours in order to rebuild a web site. I suspect that this conversion has to be run several times, one never gets it right in the first run .. No Paul, we will show the old postings. Maybe here, maybe in a separate web site. Firstly we have to wait until the old forum is definitely shut down. Next, I will either insert those postings into this forum or will use a part of our web site windev.at to show the old postings and make the available to search. But that will take some of my time. Lots of projects, meetings, dates, deadlines .. please wait. Regrads, Guenter
