Strange WX Update ?

Hi,
today I updated my 2025 WX vesions as prompted / asked by PCSofts automatic update.
Now my 2025 version shows 301022# instead of the previous 301022.

I hope this hasn't anything to do with the SAAS version ...

Has anybody else seen this?

Regards

Hi,

I use the Active Backup for Business of my Synology. It makes a daily Backup of My Laptop (it use deduplication, so it takes a few minutes).

I can restore my laptop and part of this to any other machine at any date backwards (you can define how long it holds the backups). And I have use this mechanism to renew my Laptop without reinstall anything.

Hi Guenter,

what scared me was that when I used Open in the Autoupdate form, I was asked for my SAAS credentials !!!
If you add to the above that I cannot find on the site a reference to the 301022# version, I panicked :)

Thanks

Being the uber-paranoid person that I am, I would not update anything unless:

1) One has complete backups of all source AND all WX installation setup packages - and in both cases going back as far as you can.

2) I would not allow any updates to the dongles

... until we have 100% clarity that all dongles will continue to work and that PCS will honor clause 7 of their own license agreement to replace broken dongles. Someone mentioned in these threads that PCS might not replace dongles going forward but I don't know if that is confirmed or not? Dongles were sold as part of a lifetime license ...
